Inventory Systems Supervisor
Department: Inventory
Reports to: Director of Warehouse Operations
Pay: $70,000 - $80,000
Work Schedule: Full time
Summary: Is responsible for all daily functions, reports, schedules and performances of the Inventory Systems Department which include the Inventory, Receiving, and Gatekeeping crews.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Inventory Systems Manager in establishing policies and procedures for the Inventory Systems department
- Ensure timely and accurate raw product receipts in True Leaf system of record
- Work closely with the accounting department on inventory related transactions and reporting
- Safety training for all Inventory Systems
- Maintain customer service for all customers with courtesy and professionalism at all times
- Make sure that all aged product is moved to a designated location (out of the pick pat)
- Maintain a properly rotated warehouse (FIFO)
- Reduce / eliminate finished dumps
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of production yields in the True Leaf system
- Assist Inventory Systems Manager in establishing policies and procedures for the Inventory Systems department
- Ensure timely and accurate raw product receipts in True Leaf system of record
- Work closely with the accunting department on inventory related transactions and reporting
- Safety training for all Inventory Systems
- Oversee the inventory departments daily functions; assures all daily inventory tasks that apply to shipping are being conducted - communicated
- Ensure timely and accurate repack transactions in True Leaf system of record
- Oversee Inventory System personnel schedules and overtime
- Cold Room Organization / General Warehousing
- Maintain a safe working environment by assuring that all safety features are present inside the warehouse
- Must have weekly training with the crew on both day to day issues as well as procedural issue
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum education required: Associate Degree, BS Degree preferred
- Required: Minimum 3-5 years Supervisory experience including Inventory Management, Counting & Reporting Experience; 2 years with the company with hands on training for position.
Computer Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Software.
- Experience and proficiency in database software a plus
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Team player who is exceed assigned responsibilities and assist others to reach objectives
- Strong oral and written communications skills to deliver technical information in an easily understood manner across all departments
- Willingness and ability to work occasional long and sometimes irregular hours including working night shifts, weekends and holiday hours
Other Qualifications:
- Able to travel / relocate to and from Yuma, AZ as required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Work Environment:
Routine exposure to cold and wet manufacturing environment (34-36 degrees F), the smell of chlorine/ and other industrial chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, heavy machinery, forklift and loud noises. Some exposure to a business casual office environment that involves the extensive use of office equipment, such as computers and telephones.
