Reports To: Inventory Manager
Location: San Juan Bautista, CA and Yuma, AZ
Pay Range: $20.50 + DOE
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Gatekeepers must make sure that all In-puts and Outputs are conducted in a timely manner in Famous on every run daily.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Make sure that all in-puts and out-puts are entered into each run.
Verify the production pallet tag and the actual pallet are exactly the same. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately to the supervisor.
Make sure that the Famous tag is printed and placed on the pallet.
Must make sure that the pallet is secure and stable.
Reconcile all documents and system entries throughout the shift.
Make sure the outputs from the gatekeeper reporters are received in a timely matter.
Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the lead and/or supervisor.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Required: High School Diploma
Required: 1 year or more working in the agricultural industry.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office software. Experience and proficiency in database software a plus, Proficient in Famous required.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Team player who will exceed assigned responsibilities and assist others to reach objectives.
Native intellectual curiosity and mental stamina.
Strong oral and written communication skills to deliver technical information in an easily understood manner across all departments.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to travel/relocate as required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
