Location: San Juan Bautista, CA and Salinas, CA
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM
Pay Range: $23 + DOE
Type: Year Round
Travel: Local travel between facilities in San Juan Bautista, CA(Based), Gonzales, CA(CBRT) and Salinas, CA. (Hansen 1 & 2) Routine travel is estimated 1–2 trips weekly depending on season.
Relocation: Seasonal relocation to Yuma, AZ (November to Abril)
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
True Leaf Farms is seeking a proactive and organized Purchasing Coordinator to support daily procurement operations across multiple sites. This role plays a critical part in maintaining stock levels, fulfilling supply needs, and supporting internal departments to ensure uninterrupted production and administrative activities.
The ideal candidate has a sharp attention to detail, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable coordinating with vendors and on-site teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory & Smock Room Management
Maintain stock of PPE and other materials in smock rooms across facilities
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records
Monitor usage trends and coordinate with the Purchasing Manager to avoid shortages or overstock
Procurement and Order Fulfillment
Place orders and issue POs per company policy
Track past-due orders and resolve vendor delivery issues
Maintain accurate purchasing documentation for finance and audit purposes
Category-Level Purchasing
Purchase and track materials across categories such as:
Office, janitorial, kitchen, and breakroom supplies
Cold chain devices(recorders), radios, safety tools, sanitation, and miscellaneous materials
Vendor & Internal Communication
Serve as a point of contact for purchasing questions and site supply needs
Collaborate with production, admin, and operations teams to align purchasing with seasonal demands
Report vendor performance issues or pricing changes to the Purchasing Manager
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE:
1–3 years of purchasing or inventory control experience (ag or manufacturing preferred)
Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic work environment
Familiarity with Excel, PO systems, and ERP software a plus
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Valid driver's license required for local travel between facilities

Frequent walking between office and production areas
Lift and carry up to 35 lbs
Occasional crouching or reaching during inventory tasks
May need to operate pallet jacks or light carts (training provided)
Brief work periods in refrigerated zones during supply drop-offs
