Pay Range: $22 +DOE
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am – 3:30pm. This role requires working rotating Saturday shift from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Sales Associate will work closely with all sales departments, providing assistance daily on orders and customer needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales order entry, manual key and EDI
Check order list for no-show trucks, and update customers on no-shows
Monitor daily aging, as well as coordinate with sales/commodity managers and shipping for product placement
Carefully review and troubleshoot sales order list (and screen) for long/short product orders
Monitor and price order list daily
Engage with customers to offer support regarding new and/or pending orders
Assist sales with pending orders and/or appointment challenges
Ship EDI orders to customer and manually send passings
Assist sales persons with responses to customers
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Day to day support management with key customer accounts: keying orders; working with shipping, Appt loading, CB Logistics, making delivery cross dock appts, pricing orders etc
Answer customers questions and concerns, communicate about product supply, markets and availability
Other function/duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or four years’ experience in a produce sales office; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with Famous software preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to perform computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division correctly; Solve practical problems by choosing appropriately from a variety of mathematical techniques such as formulas and percentages.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work in a fast pace environment, excellent time management skills, self-motivated, attention to detail and accuracy, ability to multitask, great organizational skills, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Able to work in a respectfull and professional manner with all levels of employees.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Work onsite and meet position’s attendance schedule, as required by the job.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
Efficiently present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, clients and customers of the organization.
