Location: San Juan Bautista, CA/ Yuma, AZ

Employment Type: Year round


GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Inventory Manager Responsibility is comparing various suppliers, keeping track of daily deliveries, and
assessing fresh shipments, they manage a crew that receives and records new merchandise as it is delivered or shipped out.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Checking the availability of raw materials and suppliers for the firm to spot any shortfalls
• Ensuring that there is enough product in stock to satisfy direct consumer demand and all distribution
networks
• To reconcile inventories, keep track of daily shipments and delivery.
• Utilize software to keep track of demand and record inventory characteristics
• Place orders to refill inventory to prevent shortages or excessive surplus
• analyze data to foresee future requirements
• To close deals that are both affordable and trustworthy, evaluate vendors
• Work together with the workforce in the warehouse to achieve company objectives
• Report stock levels, problems, etc. to top management

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

An inventory manager's track record or a post equivalent
• High level of proficiency with data analysis and forecasting techniques
• Software for inventory management that is currently in use (e.g. ERP)
• Being able to provide reports and precisely track inventories
• Good arithmetic abilities and an analytical mind
• Outstanding planning and organizing abilities
• Remarkable interpersonal and communication skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's or an Associate's Degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain
management, or a related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of forecasting techniques and inventory management software
• Product and inventory management certification a plus
