GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Food Safety and Document Control Specialist shall support the implementation of SafetyChain for document control of all entities of Church Brothers Farms, as well as customer complaints/ portals program. This position shall work with minimal supervision and serve as liaison and software subject matter expert for all company entities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as primary support for the implementation of SafetyChain Quality and Food Safety Management system to all entities of Church Brothers Farms.
• Provide training and troubleshooting support to various departments in the use of SafetyChain (e.g. Food Safety, Quality, Harvesting, Receiving, Sanitation)
• Record keeping of data in SafetyChain Quality and Food Safety Management system and ensure accuracy (uploading, expiration)
• Assist with yearly customer vendor packets and customer portals
• Assist with customer response reports
• Other tasks assigned by management

REQUIRED EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate or high school degree with at least 5 years of food safety and quality experience in food industry
• Document control / database maintenance experience
• Experience in quality assurance, food safety or food product development, highly desired
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Excellent writing, verbal and communication skills
• English and Spanish reading, speaking, and writing
• Candidate must be highly organized and detail oriented
• Candidate must be team oriented and able to work independently.
• Candidate must be able to handle several projects in a fast-paced environment
