Pay Range: $25 per hour +DOE
SUMMARY:
The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all plant equipment, machinery, and facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably to support continuous production operations.
This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and process improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Assurance & Food Safety Oversight
Conduct routine maintenance, diagnose technical issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
Oversee the installation and configuration of hardware, software, or specialized equipment, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and protocols.
Maintain accurate records of technical procedures, system configurations, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting steps.
Ensure all technical work meets quality standards and safety regulations
Design and implement process enhancements to improve system efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Take the lead on escalated technical issues, providing expert guidance and solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
Work with other departments to ensure project execution and technical support.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on equipment.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of industrial maintenance practices.
Experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs and VFDs preferred.
Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and maintenance recordkeeping.
