With decades of experience in farming, processing, and distribution, we are committed to delivering fresh, high-quality produce through our Church Brothers Farms and True Leaf Farms Organic brands.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Brand Manager to lead and grow the Church Brothers Farms conventional brand and the True Leaf Farms Organic brand. The ideal candidate brings 5-7 years of experience in marketing and brand management within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or produce industry, with a strong understanding of the retail grocery landscape, including private label programs and national retail chains.

This role plays a pivotal part in shaping brand identity, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving in-store and digital engagement. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales VPs, the Director of Product Development, and oversee a Marketing Coordinator focused on digital campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead strategic brand planning and execution for Church Brothers Farms and True Leaf Farms Organic.
  • Develop and manage branding initiatives across packaging, merchandising, promotions, and trade marketing.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints, including retail, digital, and foodservice.
  • Collaborate with Retail Sales to support top 10 national grocery accounts and develop customized retailer programs.
  • Collaborate with Foodservice Sales to support product launches and collateral development.
  • Work with Product Development on go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
  • Support and guide the Marketing Coordinator in executing social media, influencer partnerships, and digital campaigns.
  • Manage consumer promotions, sampling programs, and in-store merchandising efforts.
  • Analyze brand performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies.
  • Lead the development and approval process for packaging design and compliance with retailer specifications.
  • Maintain competitive insights and market trends to identify new opportunities.

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • 5-7 years of brand management or marketing experience in CPG or produce industry.
  • Proven experience working with national grocery retailers and private label programs.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging development, label compliance, and retail marketing.
  • Produce industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Nielsen/IRI data, and CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with organic certification, sustainability practices, and regulatory guidelines for consumer packaging.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior marketing staff.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized with strong project management abilities.
