Ag Ops Coordinator/Analyst

Department: Ag Ops 

Reports to: Senior Director of Raw Product Procurement (US/Mexico)

Location: Salinas, CA

Starting Rate: $22-$25 per hour 


GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This position will support Ag Ops by providing reporting, data review, forecasting and maintaining performance data while utilizing resources effectively and efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compile and scrutinize field yield data
  • Compile and analyze DTH data
  • Document and report closed lots & disked acres
  • Update the planting schedule with actual plantings and communicate any significant variances in a timely fashion

  • Update and disseminate planting recaps
  • Create/Maintain a “Grower Scorecard”
  • Ad hoc reports as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Work onsite and meet position’s attendance schedule, as required by the job.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to efficiently present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, clients, and customers of the organization.
  • Excellent time management and communicator skills (written and oral)
  • Self-motivated, reliable and punctual
