Recipe: Asian Pork Tacos With Napa Slaw

Asian Pork Tacos with our very own Napa Slaw

Roaste Pork
  • 2.5 pounds of boneless pork shoulder or butt

  • ¾ cup soy sauce

  • ¾ cup water

  • 3 tablespoons white sugar

  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil

  • ¼ rough chopped garlic

  • 1 small chopped onion

  • 3 inch ginger root, sliced


Preheat Oven to 375 Degrees. Begin by placing all ingredients with the exception of the pork in a Dutch oven and bring to a simmer over the stove. Now place pork in the liquid and place Dutch oven with a tightly fitted lid into a 375 degree oven for 2.5 hours. After roasting discard the ginger slices and let the pork rest for 10 to 20 minutes in the pot with the juices. Once rested shred the pork with two forks or by hand. Set aside for assembly.

Sriracha Aioli
  • ½ cup Best Foods Mayo

  • ¼ cup Sriracha (or however spicy you prefer)

  • 1 grated clove garlic

  • ½ bunch cilantro chopped cilantro

  • ½ bunch chopped mint


Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blitz until smooth. Transfer into a squeeze bottle, optional. Set aside for assembly.

To Make The Tacos
  • 1 bag Napa Slaw

  • 1 Bunch Cilantro Chopped

  • corn or flour tortilla, toasted

  • Asian Roast Pork

  • Sriracha Aioli

  • Lime Wedges, Optional


Add as little or as much pork into the tortillas, add Napa Slaw and cilantro, squeeze as much sriracha aioli as desired, enjoy with a squeeze of lime!
